App Settings

While logged into the app, From the ‘VEHICLES’ screen, tap the gear icon in the upper right corner. This screen gives you access to global account settings, access to this user guide, and the app’s “about” info.

My Account

This screen allows you to access personalization settings, security settings, and preferences.

Change Password – use this to change the password you use to login to the app with your account.
Biometric Login – On phones equipped with any type of biometrics, you can use them to increase security and streamline the login process. If your phone does not have biometrics, this option is not available. PIN code must be set before you can enable biometric login.
PIN Code – Use this to set a unique personal identification number (PIN) code for accessing the app any time you return to it. It is also used as a backup security method for biometrics in case biometrics is damaged or unusable. Follow the on-screen instructions to set your PIN code.

Preferences

Unit Of Measurement – select between imperial/standard or metric units of measurement for the display of things like vehicle temperature or distance. Some of these features may not be supported by the host system connected to LINKR-MBT. Consult your installer if you have questions.
Audible Confirmation – This will play sounds for activating and confirming vehicle functions.
Vibration Confirmation – This will give vibration haptic feedback for activating and confirming vehicle functions.
Link Drop – When turned on (recommended), this will drop the Bluetooth connection to your LINKR-MBT device(s) when the app is open in the background (not actively being used). This helps reduce phone & vehicle battery consumption and will ensure the device is available to any other authorized users when you are not using it. NOTE: Only one user can be connected at a time. When this feature is turned off, your phone will remain connected while in range and you will have to close the app completely to allow other users to connect to the device.
